Discover our latest webinars, workshops, and courses designed to help you build, test, and scale AI solutions.
Date & Time: Monday 7 September 2026, 09:30-16:30 BST
This introductory level course is aimed at anyone who has awareness of AI and machine learning and may even have introductory level knowledge of neural networks and their usage. It will introduce the fundamental concepts of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) and the reasons behind different DNN architectures. You will learn about most common DNN architectures such as FeedForward Neural Networks (FNNs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) and the Transformer architecture. The main emphasis of this course is on understanding different DNN architectures, their strengths and weaknesses and when to apply the most suitable architecture when designing an AI solution to a specific problem.
Below are details of past events, courses, and other training activities that Pilot-UKAIFA has provided or been part of.
Date & Time: Friday 21 August 2026, 09:30-16:30 BST
We hear about AI almost every day, but what exactly is it? Why has it arrived now? And what actually happens when you press return to send your query to ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude?
This course is aimed at anyone who is interested in these questions, regardless of whether you have a technical background. It will introduce how AI systems work under the hood, help you understand AI's strengths and limitations, and show you the different kinds of things it can be used for.
This introductory level course is an expanded version of the webinar that was delivered in June, with additional material, practical elements and a short discussion session relating to ethical aspects of AI.
Date & Time: Thursday 25 June at 13:00 BST
Pilot-UKAIFA, the UK AI Factory Antenna, will kicked its training programme on 25 June with the webinar 'Demystifying AI'.
